CASE FILE: HOMELESS SIMULATOR

FILE #HS-2026-001 | STATUS: ACTIVE | THREAT LEVEL: UNCLEAR

// SUBJECT DESCRIPTION

Homeless Simulator is a top-down roguelike action game about surviving the streets of St. Desolation as a homeless man whose mind is not entirely his own.

It is a dark comedy. It is rated R. There are no limits and no safety nets. The game does not moralize, explain, or apologize. It shows you the math and walks away.

The voices in the protagonist's head are sometimes helpful, sometimes lying, and always talking. Sanity is a resource. When it runs out, reality stops cooperating. The game never tells you what's real.

// GENRE CLASSIFICATION

If Binding of Isaac and GTA had a baby in a dumpster behind a Waffle House, and that baby was raised by a goose — you're in the right neighborhood.

// DEVELOPMENT STATUS

The game is in active development. Built in Godot 4 with GDScript. One developer. No publisher. No venture capital. No adult supervision.

Current build features procedural city generation, component-based combat with hit stop and screen shake, a dumpster diving loot system, an inner voices system, survival mechanics, and multiple enemy types including pigeons that hold grudges and raccoons that play dead.

// PERSONS OF INTEREST

Made by one person who should probably be doing something more productive.
